Cycling in The Yorkshire Dales

32nd day of the epic 100 posts in 100 days challenge

This is a continuation of the series of photos I took on my favourite bike ride, which starts in Otley, goes via Blubberhouses up The Washburn Valley then past Greenhow, down past Stump Cross Caverns, to Barden, past Bolton Abbey, and then back along the back road behind Addingham and Ilkley.

This section is from The Washburn to Barden.

The Washburn to Barden

Quiet, car free roads in the Yorkshire Dales

Still no cars!

Nice views

Still nice views, when will it end?

Bicycle by a stream

Time for a quick bite to eat by the river.

Barden Bridge, (and my Bicycle)

I stop at Barden Bridge, for a rest, an ice-cream, and to admire the views.

Some fellow cyclists, not in need of an ice-cream.

A web designer's day:

What have I been doing?

3 hours 44 minutes Updating a client's backup policy, creating new functionality for their website.
2 hours 49 minutes Getting to grips with a new project
1 hour 15 minutes Thinking about one of my projects
1 hour 8 minutes Watching a Google Webmaster hangout, reading MODX forum
1 hour 1 minutes Checking rankings and updating websites, and checking sitemaps
31 minutes Admin: Setting up some new hardware, email
26 minutes Social media: Hootsuite and twittering

Total: 10 hours 58 minutes

Good productive day, I need to speed up updating my own website.

Exercise: Boo, only 45 minutes gardening.

Tomorrow, lots more client work to do.
